Purpose of the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a WCC Document Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a fastpaced FMCG environment. This pivotal role will drive a culture of continuous improvement across all sites within the Wet Condiments Category, ensuring alignment, standardisation, and excellence in operational practices.
The purpose of the role is to coordinate the standardisation and maintenance of WCC documents for common system elements related to quality and food safety system across all the WCC sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with site technical teams to harmonize system documents and records.
- Create, maintain, and update all standardised system documents in collaboration with all sites.
- Communicate updates to documents and records to site teams.
- Support the translation of new food legislation, standards and customer requirements into the WCC sites as applicable.
- Formalise and manage the repository for all documents of external origin required for the quality and food safety systems. Manage the updates to these documents.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems for all established quality and food safety KPIs for all WCC sites. Issue consolidated WCC reports on the performance of these KPIs.
- Manage the submission timelines on the said tracking systems from all sites.
- Conduct document control audits to assure the implementation of WCC standardised documents as well as site specific documentation.
- Support sites with developing the appropriate document control culture and promote awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- With the support of the IT Manager, ensure the integrity of all documents and adherence to established document architecture as appropriate to WCC and as established for each site.
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify potential risks to WCC quality and food safety systems. Document risks and ensure they are incorporated into QFSM systems.
- Site specific responsibilities; manage the document control systems for CVW Strand, CVW Alrode and the DHF 2.0 site.
- Custodian of customer online portals logging in details and training of new users to navigate these.
- Support sites during audits.
- Support all document control projects within the WCC sites.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- BSc in Food Science or ND Food Technology or Total Quality Management
- Fully computer literate in all Microsoft Office Suites
- Experience in FSSC 22000 & BRC will be advantageous
- Knowledge of wide-ranging customer requirements will be advantageous
- Prior document control experience
- Analytical – able to analyse data and statistics and capture it accordingly
- Communicate clearly and efficiently across all levels of the organisation
Additional Information
This role requires regular travel between all sites in the Wet Condiments Category. You may occasionally be required to perform tasks outside your normal responsibilities, depending on the operational needs of the company.
