Role overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this
role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence dashboards and
reporting solutions using Qlik Sense. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data
needs and translate them into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Manage and implement the business intelligence (BI) strategy in alignment with overall business
goals and objectives. - Design, develop, and implement interactive and user-friendly dashboards using Qlik Sense to support
data driven decision making. - Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather requirements and define KPIs.
- Develop data models and load scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple
sources. - Optimise Qlik applications for performance and scalability.
- Conduct data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Establish and implement data governance policies and best practices.
- Maintain and enhance existing Qlik applications based on user feedback and changing business
requirements. - Document solutions, processes, and data definitions.
- Provide BI support, training and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop monitoring mechanisms to track the
effectiveness and impact of BI initiatives. - Stay up to date with the latest Qlik Sense updates, BI trends, BI best practices, and advancements in
BI and data analytics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the organisation.

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Qlik Sense or in a similar BI development role.
- Proven experience in data modeling, ETL scripting, and dashboard/report development.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure) required.
- Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and writing SQL queries.
- Proficiency in Qlik Sense development (load scripts, set analysis, expressions, extensions).
Experience with NPrinting and other BI Tools (PowerBI, Tableau) will be advantageous. - Strong understanding of data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, data governance and
security best practices. - Experience working with Syspro and CRM tools will be advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with own transportation.
- Must be willing to travel to sites as required.
