Purpose of the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Electrician to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced FMCG environment. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all the internal maintenance requirements of production are met on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate a maintenance schedule for all factory equipment to ensure planned maintenance is properly carried out timeously in line with machine manufacturers’ recommendations
• Carry out planned maintenance on all factory equipment adhering strictly to the maintenance schedule
• Document all maintenance carried out to include date, work carried out, out work, cost and equipment name and number.
• Ensure that all maintenance work is completed fully, any temporary fixes that maybe necessary from time to time must be fully fixed at the earliest possible opportunity.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years’ electrical maintenance experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Qualified Electrician
• Minimum Senior Certificate and relevant trade certification and valid trade test
• Sound knowledge of electrical systems and production machinery
• Must be able to work shifts, standby, and overtime when required
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

Additional Information
