Reports to: Sales Operations Manager
Location: Kimberley, Free State
Role Overview:
To take full responsibility in the designated area for availability and visibility of the Lancewood product range. By deploying 5P activation, influence shoppers to shop and select our brands to purchase
Key Performance Indicators for this role (but not limited to:
Manage the relevant Sales and Merchandising Companies regarding communication of regional and national promotions as well as maintaining in trade standards
Job Summary
- Ensure sufficient communication and execution of sales objectives to merchandising agents and stores
- Weekly meetings to review performance with sales agents in region
- Manage stock levels and slow-moving stock at depots.
- Key functions: drive POP objectives as per guidelines in all stores; a minimum of 40 store visits per week with formal feedback; communicate and monitor sales targets; drive planogram objectives in all stores
- Prepare action plans to achieve targets, set promotional planning and implementation.
- Manage the following: key customer relationships; key performance areas of outsourced and distribution agents; team performance; etc.
- Effectively manage stock in stores to minimize returns.
- Strong Internal and External relationship management
- General reporting functions to management
Role Capabilities and requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong time management, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
- This position requires that the successful candidate should be willing to travel quite extensively throughout the country areas of the Free State
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years FMCG Sales experience
- Proficient in MS Office
