In celebration of World Food Day 2025, Libstar once again partnered with the Ravensmead Educare Centre to promote nutrition, health, and joyful learning for the children in the community.
This year’s celebration included a surprise delivery of lunch boxes and water bottles for every child at the centre – practical tools to support healthy eating and hydration. The handover was followed by a cheerful shared lunch, bringing together Libstar team members, educators, and the children.
To commemorate the day and raise awareness about the importance of good nutrition and healthy living, the children also took part in a fun and educational colouring activity. The artwork celebrated their understanding of nutritious food choices and reinforced World Food Day’s message of collaboration to build a sustainable and prosperous food-secure future in a creative, child-friendly way.
“This initiative reminds us that even small actions can plant the seeds of healthier futures. By nurturing healthy habits and joyful learning early on, we are helping children grow with the tools, confidence, and care they need to thrive – today and for years to come,” said Terri Ladbrooke, CFO at Libstar.
The visit builds on Libstar’s ongoing partnership with the centre, which includes a food garden planted in 2024 and expanded earlier this year with new crops and fruit trees – part of the Group’s long-term commitment to food security, nutrition, and community development.
